I have used many different programs, software and used different devices throughout the course. Some of them I have already used such as work, power point and publisher but some I have never used before and therefore have learnt new skills. These include skills in Photoshop and prezi.

Who would be the audience for your media product?

When I was deciding who to target my audience for my magazine I used survey monkey to give me an idea on what sort of audience I have available and was sort of things they would associate with soul.

I created a questionnaire that consisted of ten questions and these sort of question include what sort of music they like and what they think soul is associated with.

After receiving all the possible results to my survey I collected all my data and made it into a reader profile to make it more visible to read.

Gender

My magazine can appeal to both genders as the colours are suited to both genders and I have used both male and female artists to feature in my magazine. However I think it is slightly more favorable to females as my main artist is a female and she is very dominate throughout the magazine. 

Age 

My magazine will probably appeal more to young adults (18-25 years). At first I was aiming for the age to be a bit higher, however since I used young artist in my images I thought that it may appeal to young readers more.

Social Class 

My magazine will appeal to the C1 and B social class as my magazine is quite mature in some ways as the colours aren't too bright. Also the class of my audience I'm trying to market is also reflected in the quality of the product including the type of article I have advertise and the sort of artist I have chosen.
